Saint James is located approximately 20 minutes south of Detroit along the western edge of the Detroit River nestled among Mighty Oaks, Magnolia and tall Pine.

In our worship we are traditional, following ancient Anglican patterns of liturgy in which many find both beauty and meaning.  Full choirs, pipe organ, weekly communion and shared prayer are all a part of our weekly services of worship.

In our profession of faith we also are ancient, looking to the teachings of Jesus for direction in our lives and seeking through Christ to know the Love of God and experience God’s saving Grace.

Our life together does not begin in worship.  Sunday worship is where we celebrate, but what is worship when you don’t know those who are standing at your side?

Our Fellowship Committee plans monthly get-togethers, like the Winter Hayride, a Mardi Gras party and hopefully even a trip to Comerica Park this summer.  We also offer many opportunities for study that include brief classes, longer study series, Bible studies and book discussion groups.

Today we hope that this website will help you to get to know more about this faith community.  Hope to see you Sunday!
